We are a complete newbie (except for Locke) in Game Jams. Our two main goals are:

  1. Fail and learn - there will be lots of mistakes and bugs which are all within our expectations, what we need to do is not let this kill our will but rather strengthen us and grow us to be even a better game dev/artist.
  2. Release a game - to be able to release a game and not give up halfway (even if there will be a lot of insects).
  3. Connect with like-minded people who will be a great resource and friends for the future.

A bit rough on the edges, but an enjoyable experience nonetheless! The story was a nice touch, with it giving the game a satisfying conclusion. One issue I did have involved a bug where my consumables were occasionally eaten during either transmutation or forging, but overall the game was pretty stable. Well done!

Really cool game, sounds and visuals! Lich's design is really awesome! One suggestion, I was a little confused about the sword's range. Maybe a visual could help (like a white slash)?
